Among his primary job responsibilities are to develop a custom-based web system module (using PHP & MySQL) using Vicidial (VoIP system) for QA purposes in lead tracking and call recordings. He also responded to system downtimes, provided reports to managers and was able to set up a back-up failover for both trunk carriers as well as the backup ISP. As well, he managed and deployed pfsense firewall/router as replacement of the corrupted VYOS firewall in less than 2 days including monitoring the VoIP trunk lines, monitoring and restricting bandwidths, and provisioning network switches to the right amount of end-users.

Ben was assigned as the main point of contact for on premise infrastructure and monitoring.
He is also assigned in AWS IaC build for network and resource spin-up using Terraform.
His strength lies on his flexibility with the tasks assigned to him, his eagerness to learn and research on new methods to automate tasks. Ben and I had worked together for over 2 years from our previous company Jobtarget/Talleco which I hold the role as SysOps Team Lead and Ben working under my team together with other System administrators and Cloud engineers, with the duration of two years I had the opportunity to push his promotion due to his work performance and attitude towards his role.
